As a Team Assistant, you are  joining the high-performance Elinvar team and will be responsible for providing Onboarding and Operations support to the business and employees at all levels.

This role is critical in supporting our internal communication and employee initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving our team to excellence and process improvement.

This position offers full-time and part-time arrangement

 

 What will keep you challenged? 

 Onboarding and Operations Support:

  • Driving a positive and engaged participation in and communicating activities, HR administration and other employee related tasks
  • Collaborating with HR Team and Office Management Team to ensure alignment on processes and future projects
  • Taking care of onboarding and timely and complete recording of employee data in HRMS Personio as well as the upload of relevant documents (electronic personnel file)
  • Updating employee files, ensuring that required employee documentation is collected and maintained
  • Assisting with internal communications and coordinating special projects
  • Providing administration assistance and cross-functional team support
  • Performing administrative functions such as answering /screening incoming phone calls and greeting / welcoming visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Being responsible for ordering of office supplies and maintaining proper stock levels and supporting communication with facility management vendors

Team Support:

  • Helping in planning in-house or off-site activities, such as company events, meetups and conferences
  • Performing administrative functions such as answering /screening incoming phone calls and greeting / welcoming visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Being responsible for ordering of office supplies and maintaining proper stock levels and supporting communication with facility management vendors

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, should display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times – front line contact for employee issues
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Ambition and able to work productively with minimal direction
  • Proven written and verbal business communication skills in English and in German
